Environment friendly lubricants and hydraulic oils from renewable sources are gaining ground in the market due to the increased consciousness of the consumer as well in the private and industrial sector.

The actually most used Lubricants and hydraulic oils are based on mineral oil. They cause damage of the environment in general when leaking or even during use, but in particular sensitive areas like the ocean (windmills off shore) or in woods (wood cutting) for example.

Further the actually used biodegradable lubricants and hydraulic oils are based on highly unsaturated fatty acid thus causing big disadvantages in handling and lifetime of those products.
