About DAKO

DAKO AG is an international Chemical Company located at Wiesentheid/Bavaria Germany, about 80 km west of Nuremberg.

The company was founded in 1979 by Hans Koerper and Peter Daefler initially as DAKO GMBH. Since 1994 the company is a shareholder company (DAKO AG). The Registered Capital of the company is actually 2,5 Mio Euro and the number of shares is limited to 500.000.

DAKO AG is specialized in developing, producing and worldwide selling of water-emulsifyable lubricants and emulsifiers as well as other components for industrial lubricants, special fatty acids (mainly pure oleic acid) and care and cleaning products. Contracts with local farmers assure farming and access of special oil-plants for oil harvesting and production as basic raw material.

Creative and future oriented thinking of a committed and competent staff as well as the strength of own raw material from local resources are the strength on which DAKO AG is growing continuously. This also has helped to build up worldwide reputation.
